Costa Blanca

Parks and Places

• Peñon de Ifach Natural Park. Symbol of the Costa Blanca, it rises in the sea like calcareous rock of about 50.000 m² to 332 m of height and one kilometer of length. United to land by a narrow isthmus, it is a product of a gliding of the near Oltá mountain range, constituting one of the geographical features of greater singularity and beauty not only of the Valencian Community, but of all the Mediterranean coast. • Vallesa Park. The enclosure, duly marked, forms a green zone of great ecological value, populated with trees and with vegetation of the region.
• Olta's Camping Zone.. The vegetation of this ecosystem is adapted to withstand the high saline concentrations of the soil and water. The fauna of the salt flats is mainly composed of migratory birds, which find this point as a place of rest and supply of the food resources they need during migratory periods. On the other hand, the importance of the salt flats as a humid zone within an area whose climate presents a significant period of summer drought is evident.

Beach

• Puerto Blanco Beach. It has 100 meters of extension and is of sand and pebbles.

• Playa de Levante or La Fossa. Located north of Peñón de Ifach, it is of fine sand and has an extension of 2000 meters.

Inlets

old town
